Thieves took eight bikes that are used in SRAM’s 2X10 mountain bike demo program. In an act particularly despicable to this editor, the criminals also stole the toolbox of one of SRAM’s mechanics.

Please be on the lookout for the following bikes:

Ibis Mojo SL, small, white, X0 components
Ibis Mojo SL, large, carbon, X0 components
Intense Tracer 29, large, silver, X7 components
Intense Tracer 29, medium, green, X0 components
Niner EMD Hardtail, medium, silver, X0 components
Specialized Enduro, large, brown, X0 components
Specialized Stumpy 29 Hardtail, large, white/red, X0 components
Turner Flux , small, red, XX components

Also keep your eyes peeled for a Platt 8-inch toolbox with wing pallets and cork lined dividers in bottom. There are no stickers on the outside.

Boulder Center for Sports Medicine Computrainer Competition at its Booth

Neal Henderson and the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine have created an incredible computrainer competition for this year’s VeloSwap. Below are the line-ups for the various hours. Think you can challenge?

10am – Battle of the Sexes: Cari Higgins (Peanut Butter & Company 2012 team member, USA Track National Team, multiple time national champion and Pan Ams game champion) vs. Connor Simmons (CU Cycling team member and Cat 2 rider, member of Horizon Organics-Panache cycling team)

11am – Triathlete vs. Track Cyclist: Cameron Dye (2011 LA Triathlon & South Beach Triathlon Champion, 2nd Place 2011 Race to the Toyota Cup, 2010 St. Anthony’s Triathlon Champion) vs. Mac Cassin (2011 USA Cycling Collegiate 4K Individual Pursuit national champion, CU Cycling Team Member)

12noon – Battle of Ages: Zack Gould (2011 USA Cycling Junior national champion scratch race, 2011 USA Cycling Cyclocross national championship Bronze medal, member of Garmin-Chipotle junior team) vs. Neal Henderson (more than twice as old as Zack, former professional triathlete, 2X USA Cycling Master’s national championship Bronze individual pursuit & team pursuit)

1pm – Off-Road Triathlete vs. Road Triathlon : Will Kelsay (Professional XTERRA Triathlete, 2nd place XTERRA Japan, 11th Place XTERRA USA Championships) vs. Allen Gardner (Professional road triathlete – 8th Place 20100 Los Angeles Triathlon, and winner of the 2011 Dino, UT Triathlon.)
